LEGENDS 102 BAKERSFIELD 109
A late Texas rally fell short as the Legends dropped their first game in the Showcase in Las Vegas, 109-102 to the Jam.
Earl Barron was almost unstoppable under the basket with 30 points, as the Jam powered its way to a 58-37 halftime lead. The Legends did score the first seven points of the third quarter and then poured in 42 in the fourth, but it was ultimately too much to overcome.
Renaldo Balkman and Doron Lamb led the Legends with 18 points each as Eduardo Najera chose to start a smaller lineup, going with Balkman and moving RIcky Ledo into the frontcourt over Eric Griffin. Damion James, meanwhile, was held to nine points.
