Just about everything broke loose at the American Airlines Center, where three power play goals and two shorthanded goals were scored and six men were crammed into the penalty boxes at one point after a massive fight. When everything had settled, Vernon Fiddler had two goals on the night, and Brett Ritchie had his second goal in as many NHL career games.

The Stars now have 11 goals in their last two games and have won their last two division games, vaulting over the Wild for the fifth spot in the Central Division.
