Jaime Benn ended his scoreless streak, but the Stars could not end their losing streak on home ice.
Benn got his first goal in 11 games less than two minutes in, but that and two from Tyler Seguin were not enough to overcome giving up four in the second period that sent the Stars to another defeat at the American Airlines Center.
Jeff Skinner, Patrick Dwyer, Victor Rask and Jiri Tlusty all scored in the second to erase what had been a 2-0 lead for Dallas.
Down 5-2 in the third, the Stars did get goals from Cody Eakin and Seguin, with Eakin’s being shorthanded, but Eric Staal’s second of that period put the game away.
