It may not have been late in the period, but it was still yet another disappointing goal given up in the third.
Mikeal Granlund scored 40 seconds into the final period to give the Wild a 2-1 defeat of the Stars, sending Dallas to its straight loss at the American Airlines Center.
Dallas had taken the lead 5 1/2 minutes into the second thanks to Antoine Roussel, but Erik Haula tied the game just over 10 minutes later.
It looked like another game where Kari Lehtonen may have lost focus due to his defense lightening his load. Dallas only allowed 22 shots on goal and once again lost despite out-shooting the opposition, this time 28-22.
