MAVERICKS 118 BOSTON 113
Rick Carlisle said he doesn’t see the Mavericks currently being where he wants them to be, especially on the defensive end.
Monday’s game might not assuage those concerns from the coach, but still the end result is a third straight win as the Mavs held on to beat the Celtics at the American Airlines Center.
Dallas did once again see a comfortable lead get closer late in the game, building a 67-41 first half lead only to see Boston come back with a 72-point second half.
But the Mavs hung on thanks to Chandler Parsons and Dirk Nowitzki getting 15 of their combined 56 points in the fourth quarter and Monta Ellis getting four in the last 30 seconds to help seal the win.
