SMU 10 MEMPHIS 48
The one thing SMU could take from this game was scoring the first touchdown at Ford Stadium this season.
Otherwise, it was another sad day where the defense was shredded for nearly 600 total yards and the Mustangs found themselves trailing 21-0 before Prescott Line found the end zone to cap a 75-yard drive and 41-7 before Cody Rademacher’s 40-yard field goal gave the Mustangs their only other score of the day.
Paxton Cooper threw for 307 yards for Memphis, but the Tigers were equally devastating on the ground, as Jarvis Cooper was just seven yards shy of giving them two 100-yard rushers for the game (Brandon Hayes had 101)
