RIDERS 2 @ MIDLAND 3 TEXAS LEAGUE SOUTH DIVISION SERIES GAME 3
The Frisco RoughRiders tried to rally, but a late run allowed the Midland RockHounds to escape with the win and leave Frisco one game away from elimination.
Trailing 2-0 after two innings and 2-1 after six, the Riders tied the game when Odubel Herrera drove in Jake Skole in the seventh. But Matt Chapman immediately struck back with a home run off Alec Asher to lead off the bottom of the seventh inning.
Jake Thompson will oppose Deryk Hooker in the fourth game as the Riders will try to even the series and force a fifth game at Dr. Pepper Ballpark on Sunday.
