RANGERS UNLUCKY IN THE 13th AND LATER
Twelve shutout innings from the Rangers and the bullpen went to waste in the Bronx, as first Joakim Soria could not save the game in the 13th after J.P. Arencibia’s homer gave them the lead, then Chase Headley drove home Brian Roberts for a 2-1 Yankees win.
RIDERS STRIKE BACK HARD AND FAST
After falling behind 2-0 after one, Frisco retaliated with two straight three-run innings to eventually win in Midland 8-3, with Joey Gallo driving in three runs and Hanser Alberto driving in two.
