RANGERS 4 SEATTLE 3
Shin-Soo Choo’s leadoff homer in the fifth inning broke a 3-3 time, giving Nick Tepesch his first big league win of the year. Robbie Ross, relegated back to teh bullpen, got two outs to help close out the game.

RIDERS 2 TULSA 1
The RoughRiders struck out twice in the eighth inning against Ken Roberts in the Eighth inning – and then Pat Cantwell stepped up and blasted one out to break the 1-1 tie and carry Frisco to an opening win against the Drillers.

TCU 8 BAYLOR 5
The Frogs’ bats were hot in this game, and this was one game where they needed to be. TCU had an 8-0 lead at one point, only to see the Bears score five in the last two innings before Riley Ferrell finished them off to win their Big 12 Tournament opener.

UTA 8 SOUTH ALABAMA 4
Once Again, being (essentially) an away team did not matter, as the Mavs won their fourth straight in Mobile against the Jaguars to win their first Sun Belt Tournament game. Travis Sibley drove in four for UTA.
