With Monta Ellis scoring 21 and 20 from Shawn Marion, there was no late collapse this time as the Mavs ended their 10-game losing streak to the Spurs. Dallas forced 22 turnovers in finishing off San Antonio 57-44 in the second half and evening the series.

The Stars fell behind 2-0 in the first period, but Jaime Benn’s goal 27 seconds into the second started the rally that led to Anaheim goalie Frederik Andersen getting pulled after Alex Goligoski scored the final goal.
