Martin Perez vs David Price

For the first time, a tiebreaker is needed for the league’s second wild card position. The Rangers had to win seven in a row to get here; they will need to make it at least nine for a chance at getting back to the World Series. It starts tonight, with hopefully two trends continuing: Martin Perez’s record in big matchups and David Price’s against Texas. The Rangers are 7-1 all-time against Price, while Perez had that stretch in August winning against Felix Hernandez twice, Justin Verlander and Chris Sale.
